The Arewa North Central Movement for Tinubu 2027 has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the countryโ€™s 66th Independence Anniversary and Nasarawa Stateโ€™s 30th anniversary.

The group, comprising reputable Nigerians committed to national unity and development, said the twin celebrations offer an opportunity for reflection and renewed commitment to nation-building.

In a statement on Thursday, the National Coordinator of the Movement, Dr. Suleiman Kyunni, said the group is anchored on the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC), and is committed to promoting the reforms and progress recorded in the last three years of the administration.

According to him, the Movement has structures across the seven states of the North Central โ€” Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Plateau, Nasarawa, Benue and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja โ€” with coordinators at state and local government levels.

He said the group is mobilizing residents of the North Central and Nigerians at large to support the re-election of President Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

โ€œAt 66, Nigeria stands at a defining moment. Independence is more than a date on the calendar. It is a reminder of our historic journey and an opportunity to ask: what kind of Nigeria do we want to leave for generations coming after us?โ€ Kyunni said.

He urged Nigerians to have confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that it has the capacity to transform key sectors such as business, entertainment, sports, agriculture and technology.

He added that a prosperous Nigeria cannot be built by government alone, but requires responsible citizens, visionary leadership, strong institutions and a culture of integrity and hard work.

Also speaking, the Patron of the Movement, Rtd. DCM Meshach Adigizi Jatau, an APC chieftain in Nasarawa State, said Nigeriaโ€™s greatest asset remains its people and diverse culture. He called on Nigerians in the diaspora to remain confident in President Tinubuโ€™s efforts to address the nationโ€™s challenges.

In his remarks, Engr. Garba Machong Chris said the Nigeria of tomorrow must guarantee equal opportunity for every child regardless of background, accessible education, a thriving environment for youths, profitable farming and an enabling climate for entrepreneurs.

Similarly, Rtd. Rev. Josiah Wunis Dapan described President Tinubu as a visionary leader who identifies problems before they become emergencies.

The Movement noted that the 2027 election is not just about party politics, but about competence, credibility and securing the future of the next generation.

The group congratulated Nigerians and the people of Nasarawa State on the celebrations and called for sustained unity, peace and support for the Tinubu administration.
