Only God Can Bring Lasting Peace to Nigeria, says C.G Chaplain Corps

The Commandant General of the Mercedonia Ambassador Chaplain Corps of Nigeria, Sam Keddy Balogun has applauded the efforts of the Federal Government in curbing the hate speech that emanates from the agitators from the Eastern and Northern parts of the country.

Balogun who stated this while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja noted that the swift intervention  of the Federal government and the elder statemen who added their voices to the condemnation of ethnic hegemony has gone a long way to douse the tension.

He expressed his believe in the corporate entity of the country noting that every right thinking citizen knows the value of Nigeria population in term of strength and market advantage.

The commandant General urged the federal government not to relent in its effort in empowering the youths particularly in the aspect of education which will create citizens with independent minds.

He also urged Nigerians to intensity prayers for the peace of the country adding that God being the security officer of the Universe is capable of bringing a lasting peace to all troubled areas.

Balogun however applaud Governor Yahaya Bello led administration over for doing so much at strengthening security situation in Kogi state. He charges the Governor not to relent at creating new direction to the Confluence state
