Osun Community Hails Makinde For Restoring Light into The Community

After months of total darkness, succor finally came the way of Ajebamidele community in Ile-Ife area of Osun Sstate as an illustrious son of the soil, politician and renowned philanthropist, Rotimi Makinde restore light into the community. Ajebamidele has been out of electricity since February 2017 due to the moribund and only electric transformer in the area.

Findings reveal that the power distribution company, IBEC cannot afford to replace it but pile up the bills despite the fact that the community lives in perpetual darkness.

The ugly situation has paralyzed business activities, caused mass relocation of residence, and it has also reduced the cost of land/rental properties, The situation which has also increased crime rate in the community.

Surprisingly, Honourable Rotimi Makinde came to the rescue of the suffering community on Sunday by donating a brand new transformer which was meant to service “Ooni Layout” area of Ife.

Residents of the community were very joyous and express gratitude to the man who restore hope in the community. The politician was highly appreciated for his kind gesture and usual love.

In the word of Debo Omisore, one of the residents of the area, “we are highly grateful as one of our own pushed us out of darkness and for this he has singular himself out as a reliable and genuine lover of the masses”

The residents chorused songs and prayers to show their joy and vow to support any political ambition their benefactor may which to embark upon in the future
