Pastor Chris Oyakhilome In Contract Breach Legal Tango

A photographer, Mr. Olayiwola Eke, has dragged the founder of Believers Love World also known as Christ Embassy, Pastor  Chris Oyakhikome and his manager, Deacon Armstrong Oyakhilome before an Oredo Magistrate Court over debt of N3,375,000.

The alleged debt, according to the plaintiff in his statement of claims, was the contract sum agreed upon for him to carry out photography and videography work for the defendants.

Mr. Olayiwola is also seeking N5m being general damage for breach of contract.

In the suit filed by his counsel, Elliot Oni, the plaintiff said two cheques issued to him at various times could not be cleared.

The plaintiff said he took a loan to enable him complete the job and all efforte made by him to make the defendants pay him the money was unfruitful.

He said he had forfeited his car which he used to guarantee the loan for failure to pay back.

Olayiwola has also filed a motion ex-parte seeking leave of the court to serve the defendant court processes by means of substituted service.
