NIGERIA WILL SOON GET OUT OF THE WOODS WITH BUHARI ON BOARD – YAHQUEE HABIB

The Kogi State gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressive Congress,(APC) State, Doctor Yahqeen Habeeb has expressed confidence in Buhari’s led administration to deliver on the gains of democracy. Speaking in an interview with our reporters in Lokoja, the academic don cum banker appeals to Nigerians to be hopeful and be supportive of the present administration. He noted that the country has been battered by corruption, poor planning and the dwindling oil revenue saying it will be too hasty to judge his achievements now. According to him, the country was at the verge of total bankruptcy when Buhari came in saying if he has not come to power, things would have gone terribly bad. Dr Habeeb explained that since the inception of the present administration peoples tendencies towards corrupt practices has greatly reduced and emphasized that the image of the country is gradually improving at the international level. He liken Buhari to a man struggling against the current of the river saying those who have looted the treasury of the nation are working in contrary direction to frustrate his administration. Speaking on the political situations in Kogi state, the APC stalwart urged politicians to put the interest of the people above personal gains or recognition saying most of the problems experienced in the state are perpetrated by those who felt they are denied of certain position in the state.
