CHILDREN & WOMEN MUST HAVE ACCESS TO QUALITY HEALTH CARE – KOGI FIRST LADY

The wife of the Governor of Kogi state, Mrs Rashida Bello, has promised to use her pet project ‘Kogi Women and Youth Empowerment Foundation (KWYEF)to ensure qualitative health care delivery to the children of Kogi State.
Mrs Bello who stated this through her Special Adviser on Media, Mrs Olamide Adesoro, in her message to the ‘World Immunisation Week’, said she would compliment the efforts of the state government in making qualitative health care delivery available to the people of the state especially women and children.
Mrs Rashida emphasized the need for proper immunization of the children against childhood diseases and appealed to parents to make their children available for the exercise.
According to her, the health of the children should be of great importance to the parents and urged them to always take advantage of immunisation programmes to reduce the impact of the disease that cut short the lives of the children.
