FORGERY; "President Buhari Never Apologized to the Senate" -Ita Enang

The attention of the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters has been drawn to media reports in some online and newspaper publications purporting to have apologised to the Senate on behalf of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari over the non-appearance of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) Malam Abubakar Malami (SAN) at a Senate public hearing on Thursday at the National Assembly complex.

For the avoidance of doubt, at no time was President Buhari’s name or office mentioned throughout the session from where some of the reporters claimed they got their mischievous reports.

I wish to urge members of the public to discountenance the misrepresentation of facts as presented in such malicious and twisted reports to suit the imaginary desires of the writers.
