IGP IDRIS VISITS BORNO STATE DONATES MATERIALS TO DISPLACED PERSONS
The Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Ibrahim K. Idris, NPM, mni, accompanied by the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammad Babandede, Comptroller General of Nigerian Prisons Service (NPS), Ahmed Ja’afar and Commandant General, Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu. on July 16, 2016 paid an official visit to Borno State where he presented food and other relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at Muna Garage, they were also provided with Police medical services. The IGP used the occasion to pay courtesy call on Borno State governor, His Excellency, Gov. Kashim Shettima, the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Garbai and the Military Officers at Mai Malari Barracks where he was received by the Theatre Commander, Major General Leo Irabor. On the IGP’s entourage were the DIG Operations. DIG Joshak Abila and other Senior Police officers.
