Land Grabbers Menace: Residence of Ilamoshe Community Sends S.O.S to Gov. Ambode

The activities of Akeem Osuaolale of Minimal Estate area of Airport in the capital city of Lagos is vast becoming an embarrassment to the ‘clean up Lagos’ posture of the Governor Akinwumi Ambode Administration as the man who residents of Ilamoshe Community, Ajao Estate described as “notorious land grabbers”.DSC_1516

Under the umbrella of Joint Ilamoshe Community Development Association, the residents had petitioned the state government and security agencies in the state, alleging Osuolale, Tajudeen Murtala, (a.k.a T.J) and Wuraola Tolani whom they said claimed to be a serving police woman of criminal demolition of their houses, harassment, intimidation and forcefully seizure of their landed property.

The petition signed by Musa Shounke and Dele Olokobi, Chairman and Secretary respectively alleged that on ” Tuesday March 15, 2016, Akeem osuolale sent a threat message to the proprietress of Chosen Seeds schools, Haleem Akiode street, that he was coming to do the worst. He not only unlawfully entered the school premises that day but also demanded money under threat and intimidation from the woman. The school is not covered by the judgment Osuolale claimed he has that warranted his actions”DSC_1529

According to the petitioners, on Monday, March 14, 2016, they entered another open land on Adewale Adedeji street. Up till the time of writing this letter to Your Excellency, they continue constructing on the property”

The residents further said that on Monday 21st March, Osuolale and his boys entered a property belonging to one Alhaji Agboola Saliu. This property has been declared by the Surveyor General of Lagos state as ’’not under the judgment Osuolale claimed. Yet with utmost impunity, they continue to develop the land up till this moment.”DSC_1510

On Wednesday March 16, 2016, one Rafiu Odofin, an elderly man of 61 years was kidnapped in broad day light in Alimi Bada street after being subjected to serious beating. Osuolale and his thugs, later released their victim after two hours in captivity. “

The residents who alleged that have reported the matter to the Divisional Police Station in Ejigbo but stressed that “for reason best known to the police, they could not do anything to arrest the perpetrators of these dastardly acts”DSC_1540

The community who were apparently disturbed by the continuous harassment of Osuolale wants Governor Akinwumi Ambode to he salvage the situation before it degenerate into serious calamity in its petition titled: LOOMING BLOODBATH: UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES OF LAND GRABERS- AKEEM OSUOLALE, TAJUDEEN MURTALA ( a.k.a T.J) AND TOLANI WURAOLA ADESUA (A serving woman police officer)

When contacted by SECURITY MONITOR, Akeem Osuolaloe denied the allegation stressing that he is empowered by court injunction to seize the land. Even though SECURITY MONITOR peruse the copy of the court order given to the community that should stopped Osuolale and his boys, the same could not be said about Osuolale who failed to present any legal document to back up his claims.DSC_1545
