DEATH RUMOUR: God Has Shamed Enemies of Gov. Bello, says ALGON Chair Issah
Alhaji Issah who stated this in an interview with SECURITY MONITOR’s Correspondent in Lokoja said he was not shocked over the rumour making rounds the town last week that Governor Bello was dead having confirmed from a close source that all is well with the Governor
He said the Governor was not also bothered about the news which according to him was a recurrent situation in the political history of country.
Alhaji Issah cited late President Umoru Yahadua, Olusegun Obasanjo, Mohammadu Buhari as examples of leaders who were presumed dead because of one reason or the other, stressing that it is only God who has power over human life.
The ALGON Chairman urged the people of the state to avoid being cajoled by the antics of the enemies of progress who are causing distractions to clog the wheels of progress.
He explained that the present administration was ordained by God considering the hurdles it has overcome at the party level, State House of Assembly, National Assembly, the tribunal as well as court litigations and appealed to aggrieved groups to cooperate with the present administration to bring about a rapid development.
Alhaji Issa reiterated the commitment of the present administration to develop all parts of the state stressing that the state government has flagged off the construction of Odokoro to Egbe , Isanlu, Mopa, Ijumu, Kabba to Iyamoye Federal roads and Iyamoye to Isanlu roads which have been abandoned for so many years.
The ALGON Chairman also disclosed that all Local Government’s Administrators have been directed to commence the construction of roads that links their communities with Federal roads and assured that the exercise will be completed between now and January.
