BREAKING NEWS: Osun PDP Resolves Crisis as Omisore Rallies for Peace

By Wale Abideen….Senator Chrisore Iyiola Omisore is now synonymous to Prince of Peace among Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as he rallies other party chieftains for a truce to end the lingering crisis which has been rocking the party for a while. 

As at the time of filling this report, prominent members of the party including the PDP Senatorial hopeful of the schedule forthcoming election Dr. Ademola Adeleke gather at  Otunba Omisore’s country home in Ile-Ife, Osun State with the sole aim of shelving their sword and work for the progress of the party

 SECURITY MONITOR gathers that party stalwarts were seen happy and embracing each other with a determination to finally restore good governance in the state of the Living Spring which was said to have been eroded by the All Progressive Congress, APC led administration in the state. “The crisis believing our party has been settled today and I can tell you authoritatively that the PDP in Osun state is now one and indivisible party that is poised to restle power from the clueless APC government in Osun state”, said a party chieftain who spoke to our reporter through telephone conversation.

In his word Otunba Omisore, who was a former Deputy governor and former senator in the state said the “party  has turned a new leaf and that all internal wranglings affecting the progress of the party has been put into rest today. Our leaders are happy to come together for the progress and development of the party”.

Notable key figures of the party at the peace meeting are : Senator Iyiola Omisore, Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo ,Rt Hon Rafiu Adejare Bello, Dr Ademola Adeleke, Rev Bunmi Jenyo, Dr Dele Adeleke, Dr BT Salam, Hon Kazeem Akinleye, Hon Sunday Bisi, Mrs Omowumi Alice Otunla, Princess Oyeboade Oyewale Afolabi, Dr Bayo Faforiji, Alhaji Tajudeen Oladipo, Alhaji Yekeni Omisore(Yeko) Hon Fasogbon. Others are Hon Ismila Kolawole, Dr Adegoke, Hon Funmi Babarinde, Hon Mayowa Adejorin, Hon Joshua Ogunleye, Hon Femi Odofin, Barrister Ojo Williams, Prince Toni Asaolu, Hon Gbemi Olufiade, Alhaji star Idowu Agbaje, Bashorun Tayo Majiogbe, Major Olukanni,Iya Gbengbele.
