Security Experts Converge in Lagos, Harps on Team Work
The Commandant General of Nigeria Civil Defence Society, Abdullahi Gani Muhammadu , who was the guest speaker, at the event was represented by Jonathan Iyogho. HeΒ said security challenges has become a major priority around the globe.
Government, private sector and citizens should all recognise the need for action to increase security, it is the information from the community that aids the security agencies to unravel the perpetrators of the criminal activities.
We need more information toΒ stem the tide of insecurity and as a result,Β all handsΒ must be on the desk to achieved this because insecurity hinders peace and economic development.
He further stressed the issue of private security guards who did not have knowledge of security and urged them to acquire more security skills andΒ knowledge,Β adding that they canΒ register in security school to enable themΒ perform their job effectively
In his remarks,the chapter chairman of Asis international,Seyi Adetayo called on all security experts to start doing things differently from what they do before such as team and collaboration, stressing that collaboration is the key toΒ a successful security operation.
“We come together as professional on Lagos monthly meeting to discuss issues on technical and economy security includingΒ trends in the globalΒ society”.Adetayo said, adding that “putting in place all these will go a long wayΒ to bring all stakeholders together but we will do the magic so that it will not be on one side coins”.

He urges everyone to do the rightful thing, stressing that as farΒ security matter is concern team work andΒ togetherness is needed hence we are pursuingΒ the same goal
