SARS Recovers Stolen Kids as CP Edgal Drags Arrested Suspects To Court
The suspect claimed he has tried his possible means to raise money for the burial and his house rent that has been long over due but nothing work out before he decided to sell his daughter and his landlord son to raise money for the burial and the house rent.
Orakwue during an interrogation stated that “I married the first child of the family, the burial ceremony expense falls on her, that was why I was looking for every means to assist her to give her father a befitting burial and my house rent.
“I sold my daughter out of hardship, two of my daughtes were sick. I told their mother that I was taking them to hospital, I am planning on how to sell them so immediately the opportunity I told my wife I am taking them to hospital and went to one Patience Nnwokwo after explaining my predicament to her
“ Nnwokwo then called one Adaora Obi on phone and told her about my plan, it was Obi who is a pastor of a church that referred me to the orphanage home where I sold my daughter for N120,000.”
“I lied to my wife that I told one Queen Esther who run orphanage home that there was nobody to take care of my daughter Chimamanda that was why he decided to exchange her for money.
“ I was arrested and granted bail when my wife went to report me at Meiran police station about the missing of my daughter, because throughout the period I sell the girl, I lied to my wife that I took them to my village to stay with my sister.
According to Obi, it was one patience Nnwokwo who introduced Oriekwue to me that I needed an orphanage home where they can take care of my daughter, because there was nobody that would look after her.
“ it was in the process I directed her to my friend who later took her to queen Esther orphanage home, why I directed them to the orphanage was because the owner is a member of my church.
“ I was given N20,000 after the orphanage had accepted the baby, the money was given to me as transport fare I was later arrested in port Harcourt where I went to minister and brought to Lagos.”
The suspect was accused of abducting his landlord’s seven-year-old son, Gabriel Yanga and sold him to a woman residing in Aba, Abia State
He lived at Waheed Ogunseye Street, Kabowe, Meiran area of the State metropolis and lured his lordland child away from the house to go and buy N100 recharge card in pretence and abducted him on October 20
Mrs. Bisi Yanga said told pressmen that her son was taken to Abia State after he lured to buy him recharge card in the within the vicinity until for 48 hours when we start steching for my child and Mr Oraekwue that we called he us to send transport money to him that he is in his village Abia state, we reported the matter to the SARS and before he was arrested in Abia State.
Security Monitor learnt that the police rescued the two children and brought them back to Lagos and also arrested the two suspected women, Adoara and Loveth, for aiding him in selling the children for N120,000 and N190,000 and resell them for N500,000 by the orphanage home.
Acting Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal who paraded the suspected at the command headquarters, Ikeja said the suspects would be charged to court.
