Kogi: Toyin Akanle Condoles With Isanlu People Over Monarch’s Passage
I, Dr. Toyin Akanle, on behalf of my family and Team Akanle wish to express our heart felt condolences on the passage unto glory of our amiable and exemplary Monarch, Oba Dr. A. A. Ikuborije; JP, MFR, who had to inadvertently leave us when we need him most.
We cannot contend with God who reigns supreme in the affairs of man. It has pleased Him to call Baba to glory, and we can do nothing but summit to His Supremacy.
Baba’s dream was to raise Isanlu to a lofty height, to become a light unto not only Kogi but to the whole country.
We will aspire to fulfill those dreams and do more to immortalize the Kabiyesi
Our earnest supplication is that God will comfort the Royal Family, the entire Isanlu community, Yagba-East Traditional Council and Kogi state in general and grant us all the fortitude to bear the great loss and to fill the vacuum left by the Monarch.
May the peace of God overshadow Isanluland now and always.
