Eng. Lawal Sympathizes With Victims of Osogbo Inferno, Promises Emergency Lines

By Ola Oyadele, Oshogbo/ Engineer Ayoade Afolabi Lawal, a key member of the All Progressives Congress, APC  and Osun State Gubernatorial Aspirant  has express sympathy with all those affected by an early morning fire outbreak that destroyed some shops in Ajegunle Motor Spare Parts Market in Osogbo, the state capital.

The gubernatorial hopeful who encourage the traders to always inform the appropriate agencies such as fire fighters, police, etc in case of such emergency promises to establish dedicated toll free emergency line when assume office as the governor of the state. He added that such swift alert and response could save lives and fortunes.

Speaking during a stakeholders parley in Iwo on Friday, Engineer Ayoade says that “It was with shock that I learned of the early morning fire outbreak that destroyed some of the stalls in the auto spare parts market today. The market is important to the economy of Osun State. My heart and that of my family is with the victims. May God grant them the grace to bear the loss and recover at the earliest, best time”.

“This is a sad incident, we must sympathize with the traders and others of our citizens  affected by the adverse development. This is where taking an insurance policy is useful. I urge businesses, especially traders in goods to imbibe the culture of insurance to help cushion the effects of sad occurrences like this”, he said.
