How Agbaje’s Fans Rattle Sanwo-Olu At The Experience Concert
If the 2019 general elections were to be judged by what happened at the 2018 edition of the famous gospel concert, The Experience, then the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje may have coasted to victory as he was welcome by a thunderous sheers from the participants at the evnt.SECURITY MONITOR scoops that the duo of Jimi Agbaje and All Progressives Congress, APC Guber candidate in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu were at TBS, venue of the concert. It was learnt that, the arrival of Sanwo-Olu at the event was greeted by murmuring and condemned commotion which signifies peoples disregard for the APC Flag bearer. Subsequently when Jimi Agbaje took to the stage, prolonged claps, sheers, and all sorts of noisy signs of acceptance rent the air for a longer time that it took the intervention of the organizers to calm the crowd. Some participants at the event however grumbled at Sanwo-Olu’s appearance, saying that he was not expected at the event.While some political analysts believed that Agbaje may be one of the financiers of The Experience and that he may have some cpore loyalists within the organizer, others rate the PDP chance high giving the louder ovation the PDP man received at the event.Investigations however revealed the camp of Sanwo-Olu was rattled by the event which portends a political misfortune for the APC man. The APC, according to sources have ignited a special strategic move to further popularize its candidate so as to forestall any unpalatable result at the next year poll.Although the much celebrated 2018 edition of the world’s largest gospel concert, The Experience, has come to an end, the phenomenal impact it made still lingers on. This year’s edition saw a mammoth crowd of over 700,000 persons occupy the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos with several overflow sitting areas around the venue filled to maximum capacity.
