Smart Adeyemi Felicitates With Speaker, Kogi Assembly, Lauds Gov Yahaya Bello

As his excellency, Gov. Yahaya Bello, proclaimed the inauguration of the Kogi State 7th Assembly and

with the unanimity of the house members elected their principal officers to legislate on the state matters of importance, in steering forward the wheel of good governance in Kogi State.

It is in no doubt that, the  process which led to the emergence of the 7th Assembly’s Speaker in person of Rt Honourable Mathew Kolawole and other principal officers, who are party members of All Progressive Congress, met the requirements of Nigerian legislative principles, which is fundamental norms for our democratic practice.

The distinguished Sen Smart Adeyemi salutes the courage and leadership dexterities of his excellency, Gov. Yahaya Bello, his eminent chief of staff, Chief Edward David Onoja and the leadership of the largest party in Africa (APC) in Kogi State, in their coordinated  contributory roles played towards ensuring what can be best described as the superlative squad to discharge legislative excellence that will vehemently propel our dear State to an enviable socioeconomic prosperity among the comities of States House of Assembly in Nigerian nation.

The Kogi West All Progressive Congress (APC) Senatorial Flagbearer during the February 23rd national assembly election, Sen Smart Adeyemi, in his speech; “I sincerely congratulate my brother in whom I am well pleased, on the occasion of his emergence as the 13th Speaker of the 7th Kogi State House of Assembly.

It is indeed a merited seat that eminently commensurates his effort for the success of our great party (APC) during the last elections.

I also congratulate the principal officers and all the members of the 7th Assembly for their comportment that saw the beginning of this legislative dispensation through a peaceful outing”.

While addressing his loyalists in Lokoja the capital city of Kogi State, he charged the vibrant 7th Assembly members to work symbiotically with the executive arm of government so that,  people’s desires to have voted for them, which is delivery of democratic dividends will not be in jeopardy.

Conclusively, Sen Smart Adeyemi rejoiced with the Obaro of Kabba, HRM. Oba, Solomon Owoniyi, Otitoleke on the good tidings his reign ushers in for the good sons and daughters of Kabba Kingdom.

He advised the Monarch and the good people of Kabba community to leverage on this opportunity given to them by his excellency Gov Yahaya Bello, to deliver APC Candidate come November 16th gubernatorial election.
