Primary School Liberian Remanded in Kirikiri for Raping Physically Challenged Person in Lagos

By Tricia Ikem/LAGOS/ The Liberian of Opebi primary school Lagos Mr Babatunde Fasogbo,39years old has been remanded in kirikiri for raping a physically challenge girl.

It was learnt that the incident took place on 25th of March inside the school Library when other pupils had gone for excursion.

Our correspondent gathered that the Liberian has been sexual abusing the physical challenged girl for a long while before he was caught on the act.

Until that faithful day when other pupils were leaving for the excursion the suspect called her inside the library and engage her with soft drink.

It was gathered that he prevented her from joining others to enable him carry out the act,So while he was raping the girl another teacher had the noise from the physical challenged who was screaming for help.

The case was reported to the Lagos state police command of gender unit who swifted in and arrest the suspect.

He was later charged to court and was remanded in prison by the family magistrate court Ogba until DPP advice will be out.

The incessant cases of rape in schools has been on the rise in part of Lagos and the public has urged all parents and victims to report such incident to the nearest center that will handle rape cases.
