WHY I STAND WITH TINUBU BY REV. JACOB OSUNGBOHUN: ‘Tinubu is not a perfect man but on a scale of preference, it is impossible to wave him aside with mere hands. Tinubu stands tall among other presidential contestants”

Nowhere in the world have we perfect president, governors, local government chairman, assembly men and women, judiciary officers, military and paramilitary, government ministry, departments and agencies, business men and women, artisans, market men and women, Herdsmen, farmers, religion men and women, etc and you, I can say under the grace of God that you will sure agree with me that yourself is not perfect as well as me

God doesn’t give us privilege to be Yoruba and in extension Nigerians because we are perfect and not at all does He expects perfection from all of us

We have complaints from each other. We can not live together without offending one another.

We are constantly disappointed. Yes for so many reasons at different times we are disappointed by one another.

There is no healthy asociation, group, tribe or nation without the exercise of forgiveness. Forgiveness is the medicine of nation’s
joy and happiness.

Forgiveness is vital to our emotional health and spiritual survival. No matter the offence or who is the offender. Without forgiveness, we may live but in an arena of conflict and a fortress of evil.

Without forgiveness, the nation becomes sick and unhealthy.

Forgiveness is the asepsis of the soul, the purification of the spirit and the liberation of the heart. No sin is too big to be forgiven.
He who does not forgive does not have peace in his soul and can not have communion with God and fellow citizens: men and women

Unforgiving is Evil and a poison that intoxicates and kills the one who refuses to forgive.

Keeping heartache of unforgiving in your heart is not only destroys unity, brings stagnation, retrogression but it is a self-destructive gesture. It’s autophagy.

Nation whose citizens do not forgive one another will be physically, emotionally and spiritually ill, lacks meaningful development and the citizens are bound to suffer

For this reason, the Nigeria should and must be a place of life and not a place of death, a place of paradise and not a place of hell. Nigeria must be a healthy and developed territory and not a retrogressive territory; a nation where citizens will live together in peace, harmony, happiness and joy and not a nation of anarchy and an internship of forgiveness and not guilt.

Forgiveness brings joy where sorrow has brought sadness; of healing where sorrow has caused disease.

Nigeria should and must be a nation where citizens support one another for progressive purposes and not of gossip, hate speech and slander of one another. It must be a place of welcome not a place of rejection. Shame to those who plant evil about others. Nigerians are family and not enemies.

Tinubu is not a perfect man but on a scale of preference, it is impossible to wave him aside with mere hands. Tinubu stands tall among other presidential contestants. On these basis I stand by Tinubu

To tell you just few out of his numerous achievements, Tinubu as governor of Lagos State built Egbin Electricity power plant to bring about revolution of industrialisation of Lagis State. This achievement the federal government under Obasanjo using federal might almost scuttle it from being successful, stiffened its distribution of light supply. But by Tinubu’s dogedness and insistence tenacity today the power generation plant is supplying 24/7 uninterupted electricity in Lagos Island and Victoria Island to various and many organisations, industries, government’s departments, agencies and ministries

Tinubu was first to start “Economic Summit” to proffer solutions for economic prosperity.

Tinubu was first to start “Treasury Single Account (TSA)” in Lagos State to promote good governance, transparency and accountability

Tinubu was first to promote “Digital Economy” by the digitalisation of Lagos Tax Administration to improve revenue collections for developments.

Tinubu was first Governor to “Create 37 Local Govt. Council Development Areas (LCDAs)” to bring governance and development closer to the grassroots. On this Federal government ceased fiscal allocation from federation account to Lagos State. But it is no longer news we all know that inspite of this Tinubu succeeded in funding the LCDA.

Tinubu was first to offer Free Education and without discrimination to other tribes. He appointed Pupils excelled academically as acting Governor of Lagos to encourage youth productivity in education.

Tinubu was first detribalized executive to engage Nigerians from other states to work (shop) with Lagos state government to promote unity.

Tinu was first to go every length, legally possible to reclaim SouthWest states (and beyond) Governorship election stolen mandates as attested to by VP Osinbajo.

Tinubu was first and last Governor who governed his state for years without federal allocation (FAAC) as OBJ government wickedly withheld Lagos state N4.8 billion allocations.

Tinubu fought for enthronement of democratic order in Nigeria and associated benefits of democracy we enjoys today. Each time he took Federal government or Federal government took him to court over democratic rule of law he won and these became template and benchmark for our democracy

Tinubu is full of Vision, great Ideas, Policies, Strategies, Plans and unusual Wisdom.

Tinubu is that detribalized Nigerian who on different occasions supported these Fulani men: ATIKU, RIBADU and BUHARI…all for the Presidency.

Tinubu is a Religion Tolerant Leader; a devoted Muslim husband of a devoted Christian wife.

Tinubu carved out a blueprint for Lagos State and brought the Lagos State from the most dirty and unstructured state to a “Megacity City, Smart City and now GREATER Lagos”; the most institutionalized State in West Africa.

Tinubu started the Governor’s Forum with the first two meetings held in Lagos.

Tinubu is the only candidate with propounded ideologies including “Counter-cyclical Fiscal Policy” & “Democratic Arithmetic” etc.

Tinubu was the first/only person that has ever remembered the wife of Late Brigadier General Adekunle Fajuyi. He came from Lagos to Ado-Ekiti in the year 2004/2005 and built a two wings duplex for the poor widow of Late Adekunle Fajuyi who has been living in the family house (old semi- dilapidated upstairs) since the death of her husband.
Without sentiments Nigeria need a visionary leader at a time like this.

No wonder on these basis some Nigerians great men, statesmen and political leaders acknowledged Asiwaju astutuness and greatness:

1. IBB saw Asiwaju and he shouted THE JAGABAN OF AFRICA.

2. The only candidate I can support apart from myself is Tinubu – Rabiu Kwankaso.

3. I would have supported Tinubu assuming am not on ballot
_ Atiku Abubakar

4. Asiwaju is a good material and the best that Nigeria need at this time. – Ayo Fayose

5. If you are in PDP, nobody would have contested primary with you. – Suleiman Lamido to Tinubu

6. Tinubu is the best that Nigeria need now
– Alh Asari Dokibo

7. Asiwaju is my leader and I will never attack his aspiration
– Wike

8. Tinubu Is a good man and the best for Nigeria
-Alh. Tanko Yakassai

That we cannot outrightly castigate those of them who think otherwise of Asiwaju. All of us cannot always see matter thesame ways, as we sometimes don’t use same lenses.
At this juncture I tender apology. Please see reason for Jagabaan presidential candidacy as most preferred. I’m speaking directly to all Nigerians in their entirety, to Yorubas specifically and more to the Afeniferes. There is a saying in Yoruba that “Gbogbo wa oo’lesun ki aako ori sii ibikan na”. So I salute your stance. I
We all know the good deeds of a man is normally written in water but his bad deeds in gold. I cannot rule out that Tinubu in his imperfection as a man may have err one way or the other but we must also not forget to consider his good deeds which I believe outweigh his misdeeds.

To those of us who believe in Asiwaju candidacy let us embrace those think otherwise. We should not only go on our kneels and pray to Almighty God to open the spiritual eyes of Tinubu’s haters to see what we and other great peoples in Nigerians mentioned above have seen in Asiwaju but we must make it our duty to make them to understand that they cannot think they are more Patriotic Nigerians than us Jagabanists and the great Nigerians despite not being in thesame political camp with Asiwaju but at thesame time hold Asiwaju in high esteem

Let’s speak to them in love and convince them to refocus their lenses to good deeds of Tinubu better than the otherwise that they are focusing.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban Borgu is indeed a great man. I doff my cap for him. By the grace of God under the presidency of
Tinubu Nigeria is on the path of greatness. I BELIEVE !

Great Jagabanists, Great Jagaban, Great Nigerians. Nigeria shall be great, no doubt

There is light at the end of tunnel. We shall laugh last. We must not relent on the struggling, campaigning, blowing the trumpets, blow it loud, louder and loudest!

I CAN SEE THE SUCCESS.

I remain the last man standing…
