LAWAL MOURNS DEATH OF JUSTICE DAIBU AS SDP SUSPENDS ON-GOING INTERACTIVE SESSIONS

The Kwara State Gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alhaji Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal has commiserated with the Director General (Operations) of the SDP Campaign Council, Architect Kale Belgore, Ilorin Emirate and the entire people of Kwara state over the death of a Judge of the State High Court, Justice Safiya Titilayo Daibu.

The death of the jurist who passed on Monday after a brief illness in a hospital in Abuja, occurred barely 24 hours after that of the late Vice-Chancellor of the Kwara State University, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi.

Alhaji Lawal noted that the late jurist was one of the highly successful women and a shinning star of the legal profession who attained greatness through legal practice.

The SDP Guber candidate therefore condole with the husband, Barrister Lanre Daibu, the deceased children, the entire members of the Ikokoro family as well as members of the judiciary over the demise of the great jurist.

He also prayed to Allah to forgive her shortcomings, accept her good deeds and admit her into al-janatul firdaos.

In deference to her memory and to condole with the Director General Belgore, the SDP has suspended the ongoing interactive session with stakeholders across the State.
