Amid the recent attack and Killings of over one hundred and Ninety five (195) persons including women in communities across three Local Government Areas in Plateau State on the Christmas Eve when the people were in a celebrative mood. It is very disappointing to note the inability of the State Governor to take drastic action to immediately arrest and prosecute the perpetrators of that satanic act.

A statement signed and made available to SECURITY MONITOR by Chilos Godsent,
President of the Igbo National Council (INC) stated that it is very disappointed on the Insecurity Ravaging Plateau State in the recent time, and therefore call on Governor Caleb Mutfwang to Immediately Resign and Apologize to the people of Plateau State for Leadership incompetence and Lack of Capacity to defend his people.

It is very sad to note that Governor Caleb Mutfwang lack the Courage to Commission a State Vigilante Command to assist the Community People in the fight against bandits and terrorists which objectives are to kill the people and take over their ancestral Lands.

On the foregoing, the INC hereby advise the indigenous people of Plateau State to set-up Community Vigilantes and defend themselves in line with the law to guarantee their self-preservation and existence.

Finally, the Igbo National Council (INC) calls on the Governments of Nasarawa, Plateau, Taraba and Benue States Respectively to convoke a Joint Security Summit that will give birth to formation of a Security Alliance that will jointly defend their States from bandits and terrorists attacks.
