WOMAN HOSPITALIZED AFTER BEING BRUTALIZED BY EX HUSBAND

By Olayiwola Ibrahim// One woman identified as Mary Olohunwa, was accosted on her way to her shop last Thursday, January 25, by her ex husband Keji Ademola, who allegedly beat and hit her with a heavy stone.

The incidents happened in Bako Estate, Owode Onirin, area of Lagos State.

Ademola alledgely hit Mary with a stone which resulted to lots of bleeding was later rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Report gathered shows that he has been apprehended after he assaulted his ex wife, leaving her hospitalized.

A relation of Mary told Sahara reporter on Monday, January 29, that Ademola claimed he saw strange marks on their children’s heads, when he asked, Mary explained to him that she put the Mark’s to fend off spiritual attacks to protect the children.

According to her, she said her wounded sister is still in the hospital while a sum of 160,000 naira medical bill is needed for her treatment.

She stated that this is the third time the ex husband wanted to kill his sister noting that was the reason why separated their ways.

Ademola was apprehended by residents of the area after he attended to flee and handed him over to the police.

Divisional Police Station Ketu, where the case was reported, said that the matter will be arraigned in court today.

She added that, the matter has once been reported to the same police Station before, add noting that she hoped that this time around the police will not compromise on their Job in making justice to be prevailed.
