LAGOS STATE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY WARNS ON THE CURRENT CHANGE IN WEATHER

By Olayiwola Ibrahim // The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency EPA has announced that that the current change in weather/ atmosphere across the Country is not Hamattan, but rather an extreme form of Air Pollution with dire consequences on human health.

According to the Agency’s report, it states that the change in weather/atmosphere is very hazardous and can lead to the following health conditions.

Reduction of Lung function.

Respiratory infection

Inflammation

Oxidative Stress define as a low level of antioxidants which even creates an imbalance in your body.

Consequence to this, everyone are advised to mask up with there noise mask, cover food and water very well to prevent dust from settling on them, wash fruits very well before eating, stay indoors as much as possible.

Speaking further on the health conditions of the change in weather/atmosphere, this condition may prevail for a considerable period of time.

The Agency hereby warned to adhere strictly, enjoins to keep the family and friends informed because the air quality across the region is very toxic.
