By Olayiwola Ibrahim // Official NNPC filling stations across the country have increased petrol price to ₦1,075 per litre as predicted two days ago.
Citizens lamented, citing the increase as the third one within 30 days.
Here are the prices sold at major states across the Country, Lagos #998, SW #1,025, Abuja #1,030, SE #1,045, SS #1,075, NE #1,070.
NNPC claimed that they were buying fuel at #898/l from Dangote Refinery, and selling to marketers at #765/l, therefore covering the offset of #133.
Recently, they said it was no longer sustainable noting that this is the reason they are reportedly, set to end their exclusive partnership with DR.
With this new price, independent marketers may sell up to #1,300 which has taken effect with the new pump price has been implemented this morning across the nation.
According to NNPC, the first batch of petrol shipments from DR is about to finish.
