The Born Again artist, renowned for his captivating hits like Hot Like a Sun, Not at All, Heart, good Life, and Turn Me Over, had taken a temporary break from music to focus on his academic pursuits.
In a recent post on his social media page, Never Give Up hit maker teased his eager fans with the promise of new music on the horizon.
The announcement sent shockwaves of excitement throughout the music community, with fans eagerly anticipating the release of his latest tracks.
This Champion composer musical journey has been marked by a series of transformative experiences, including his conversion to being Born Again.
This newfound spiritual awakening has undoubtedly influenced his music, imbuing it with a fresh sense of purpose and meaning.
As fans eagerly await the release of Purpose’s new music, speculation is rife about the direction his sound will take.
Purpose switched to gospel Music in February 2021 and provoked a huge wrath in his conglomerates who cherish his talent for his unnoticed silence in music circles.
We all not trusted and thought that was just a mere drama that he switched to God’s praising songs.
But yes, his first gospel tune titled Resignation Letter (Intro) was released in February 2021.
The track was produced by Beatbanger while its video was directed by Mutumbi.
The 27 year old (born on 31st May,1998 shook the urban music industry with amazingly composed reggae dancehall tunes early starting from 2014 up to 2020.
He made ample and amusing commotion in music circles with his first extended playlist dubbed Random Intentions which was released in 2015 and it earned himself multiple nominations at UMP Awards.
He created juvial mood and consoled multitudes people.
Deservedly, in 2018, Sangamake creator was named the winner of Best Dancehall Artist category at the aforementioned awards.
After dropping Take Time in 2017, the artist vanished in music circles and after about five years of conspicuous silence, the H.E.A.R.T. hit maker made his return in 2021 but with a new name and genre.
But before that, the wonder kid dropped an album dubbed Extraordinary under Abstract Records.
Long before it landed in the audience’s zone, there were great expectations from the public as people could only predict a glittering launch show that was contrary to his plan.
Extraordinary was his first album since registering his name on the music scene.
He featured local RNB super stars, Theo Thomson in the song called Take Time and Tsar Leo track titled In love.
In fact, he announced that he had transitioned from a secular artist into a Christian singer and changed his stage name to Purpose after receiving his call from the almighty God to serve.
