The Kano State Civil Service Commission has disclaimed a misleading announcement circulating about the sale of application forms for employment into the state civil service.

In a statement signed by the Director of Public Enlightenment, Musbahu Aminu Yakasai, and sent to The Historica Nigeria on Sunday, the Commission categorically described the announcement as false, baseless, and unauthorized by any government agency.

The Commission urged the general public to disregard such information and avoid engaging with individuals or groups making such claims. It emphasized that all official communications regarding employment opportunities and other activities of the Commission would only be disseminated through appropriate government channels.

Furthermore, the Commission reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and due process in all recruitment exercises, warning that anyone found engaging in fraudulent activities in its name would face legal consequences.

For inquiries and verification, the public is advised to visit the Kano State Civil Service Commission office at Audu Bako Secretariat, Kano.
