ABIA STATE POLICE COMMAND COMMENCES IN-HOUSE REFRESHER TRAINING FOR OFFICERS OF THE COMMAND
By Olayiwola Ibrahim // In line with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, today 25/02/2025, the Deputy Commissioner of Police Administration, as well as the Deputy Commissioner of Police State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), and the Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations on behalf of the Commissioner of Police Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa conducted a lecture on Values and Ethical Re-orientation themed Reinforcing the Primary Functions of the Nigeria Police Force, held at the State Headquarters Umuahia.
In attendance were officers of the command .
The lecture focused on upholding ethical standards in policing, and promoting positive values to combat corrupt and unethical practices within the Force.
Officers were reminded of their primary responsibilities as outlined in Section 4 of the Police Act
Furthermore, officers were encouraged to embody the values of an exemplary police officer, ensuring that they not only enforce the law but build trust and cooperation with the citizens they serve.
