ALESHINLOYE INFERNO: BAAMEKO COMMISERATES WITH VICTIMS, CALLS FOR OYO GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION

By Olayiwola Ibrahim // The Baameko of Ibadanland, Oloye Saheed Oladele, who also doubles as an aspirant of the APC gubernatorial candidate for 2027, has expressed sadness over the inferno which ravaged Alesinloye market few days ago.
In a statement issued by his media office, Chief Oloye Oladele sympathised with the victims of the inferno which led to huge loss of properties running into billions of naira.
Pointing out that the cause of the inferno has not be ascertained, he sparks on lack of emergency response of the men of Oyo Fire Brigade who could not provide water to bring the inferno under control.
Oloye stressed on the need for Oyo state government to mend its emergency response drive by providing adequate infrastructure and manpower to mitigate against future disasters.
The Baameko of Ibadanland called on the state government led by Engineer Seyi Makinde to provide succour to the victims while efforts must be made to help rebuild the market for the benefits of the teeming traders.
He enjoined that the safety of lives and property of the citizens in the state is very paramount and needs urgent attention to prevent such crisis.
