Suspended Senator Natasha in Another Trouble As FG Probes Her Alleged Illegal IPU Attendance

By Mohamed Fitr/ABUJA// The embattled Kogi state senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan who was suspended from the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria over an alleged breach of Senate rules may be in for another round of trouble over her appearance at the Inter- Parliamentary Union, IPU.
SECURITY MONITOR gathers that the State Security Service (SSS), in collaboration with the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), are working to determine how Mrs Akpoti-Uduaghan attended the international meeting without approval.
Security agencies are also investigating who facilitated the suspended Senator trip and accreditation with a view to determine whether her participation was orchestrated by interest groups within or outside the country to embarrass Nigeria, its government and its people.
