BREAKING: FIRE EXPLOSION AT KARU BRIDGE ALONG NYANYA-MARARABA ROAD WITH SEVERAL LIVES LOST, INJURED, AND CARS DAMAGED

A tragic fire explosion occurred this evening, Wednesday, March 19, 2025, around 7 PM at Karu Bridge along the Nyanya-Mararaba Road. The incident was triggered when a Dangote Cement truck lost its brakes and crashed into multiple vehicles, leading to a massive gas explosion. Eyewitnesses reported that the crash caused an instant fire outbreak, engulfing several cars and commercial buses in flames. Thick black smoke filled the sky as residents and commuters scrambled for safety, with many sustaining injuries while trying to escape.
