Gunmen have launched a deadly attack on the Awgu Divisional Police Headquarters in Enugu State, killing a police officer and carting away weapons.
The attack, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, March 24, 2025, resulted in the death of Police Constable Akpa Emmanuel.
The assailants also vandalized the station and stole an AK-47 rifle and two riot guns, leaving the area in a state of tension.
