Malam Munka’ilu Bala Bayero, National Director of Media and Publicity for Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, has congratulated the Muslim community on the conclusion of Ramadan, calling on Nigerians to embrace unity, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence.

Bayero urged Muslims to uphold the spirit of Ramadan by fostering patriotism and backing government initiatives that drive national development. He lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for launching the Livestock Ministry, a move he described as transformative for the Fulani community. According to Bayero, the ministry is set to modernize cattle rearing, increase profitability, and elevate Fulani pastoral practices to meet global standards.

“This is a significant achievement for the Fulani people in Nigeria. We are confident that this initiative will propel our cattle-rearing business into a new era of modern livestock management and enhanced productivity,” he said.

A respected leader and member of the Coalition of Fulani Associations in Kano State, Bayero encouraged his community to reflect on Ramadan’s lessons, emphasizing the need for renewed faith and a steadfast commitment to peace. He also urged the government to tackle longstanding issues of discrimination and tribal bias against the Fulani, underscoring the importance of fairness and inclusivity.

Addressing security concerns, Bayero highlighted a recent surge in criminal activities in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State. He cited allegations that criminal elements poisoned 20 cows belonging to a Fulani herder—a disturbing incident that threatens regional peace. “The government must take swift action against cattle rustling and poisoning. Bringing those responsible to justice is critical to deterring further crimes,” he asserted.

Bayero extended his call for unity to the broader Nigerian society, expressing sympathy for Northern communities affected by recent killings in Edo State. He urged Northern Governors to work collaboratively to restore the region’s lost glory and ensure that perpetrators are held accountable. “We, as youth, must have full confidence in our leaders, demonstrating our concern for these events and maintaining peace in our communities,” he remarked.

Furthermore, Bayero called on the Federal Government to build on the developmental projects inherited from the Buhari Administration in the Northern region, suggesting that such initiatives could enhance Tinubu’s APC prospects for reelection in 2027.

In closing, he commended Miyyeti Allah Kautal Hore President, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, for his unwavering dedication to the Fulani community and encouraged affluent Fulani individuals to emulate his example in reshaping negative perceptions and uplifting their people.
