Buhari Stands Firm With Tinubu, APC, Amid Opposition Leaders’ Visit
By James Ajibade// Former President Muhammadu Buhari has no interest in engaging in politics beyond returning the favour to his party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which helped him secure victory in the 2015 and 2019 elections, according to sources close to the ex-president.
Buhari’s residence became a hive of activity yesterday as opposition leaders paid him a visit under the guise of a post-Sallah courtesy visit.
The former president recently dismissed rumours of a rift with the APC, reaffirming his full support for the party and his strong relationship with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Meanwhile, APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje sent a strong message to the opposition, describing them as fragmented elements incapable of unity.
