EMIR OF KANO EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER TRAGIC ACCIDENT, URGES GOVERNMENT ACTION

In a letter to the Government of Kano State and the Ministries of Youth and Sport, the Emir extended condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The Emir urged the government to take immediate action to investigate the cause of the accident and implement measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
He also requested that the government provides necessary support and assistance to those affected, including medical care, compensation, and counseling.
Furthermore, the Emir recommended that the government reviews existing safety protocols and regulations to ensure that the state is better equipped to prevent and respond to emergencies.
I trust that the government will take swift and decisive action to address this tragic incident and ensure the well-being and safety of our citizens, the Emir stated.
As the Emir of Kano, I pledge my support and cooperation in this effort.
