Grassroot Mass Mobilization Support Group Requests National Holiday in Honour of Former President Muhammadu Buhari

The Grassroot Mass Mobilization Support Group, under the leadership of its National Chairman, Hon. Faisal Mohammed, respectfully calls on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to declare the date of the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari as a national holiday in Nigeria.
This solemn request comes in recognition of the immense contributions of Muhammadu Buhari to the unity, development, and democratic stability of our great nation. As a two-time Head of State and a founding pillar of the All Progressives Congress (APC), his legacy deserves to be immortalized in our national consciousness.
We also urge all APC support groups, elders, stakeholders, and progressive forces to rally behind this noble motive. Honouring Buhari with a national day of remembrance will not only consolidate party unity, but also preserve the values he stood for: integrity, discipline, and patriotism.
May his legacy continue to inspire future generations, and may his soul rest in perfect peace.
