ABIA STATE POLICE COMMAND REUNITES RESCUED CHILDREN WITH THEIR FAMILIES: APPREHEND SUSPECTS FOR CONSPIRACY AND CHILD TRAFFICKING, RESCUES THREE CHILDREN

and Adaoma Sunday, female, 30 years in Abia State.

A statement have been referenced to the press release by the Command on 10/10/2025 regarding the rescue of eight infants and ten stolen children, and the subsequent arrest of suspects for conspiracy and child stealing, Mr. Akinrinola Aliya Ayomide from Lagos State has identified one of the children as Akinrinola Aliyat Ayomide, with all necessary documents and has been reunited with his daughter.

Likewise, Mr. Oladapo Olanipekun from Lagos has identified little Master Olanipekun Akoede Daniel with all necessary lawful documents and has been reunited with his family.

2. Anyone whose child is missing should visit the Gender Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) or contact the OC Gender through 08033173846.

3. On 4/10/2024, the Command received a report that the widow of late Mr. Ukachukwu Ojimadu, Mrs. Chinasa Ukachukwu, female, 31 years, left home with her four children, under the guise of attending a child dedication in Aba.

She returned two days later with only one of her children and could not give an account of the remaining three children.

4. She was apprehended, and leveraging on actionable intelligence, detectives of the Command arrested another suspect, Adaoma Sunday, female, 30 years, and rescued the three children in Aba, Lagos, and Anambra, respectively.

The children have been reunited with their families, and the suspects have been charged to court.

⁠5. The Commissioner of Police, CP Danladi Isa, has advised the good people of Abia State to ensure the security of their wards and children and to report any suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police station or through the Command’s emergency contact numbers:
