Three of five artists killed in Ntcheu road accident laid to rest

People from all walks of life have gathered in Blantyre and Mangochi today to pay their last respects as burial ceremonies for three of the five artists who lost their lives in a road accident in Ntcheu take place.
The tragic accident which occurred yesterday in Ntcheu District, claimed the lives of five artists and has left the arts and entertainment community in deep mourning.
In Blantyre, mourning activities started at the Mthunzi residence, where the bodies of the late MacFarlen Banda and Wilfred Kapengule were received by grieving family members and colleagues.
MacFarlen Banda is being laid to rest at Stalla Marris Cemetery in Blantyre.
Wilfred Kapengule is also being buried today at HHI Cemetery in Blantyre.
Friends, relatives, fellow artists and members of the public have gathered at the various burial sites to honor the lives and contributions of the departed artists.
Meanwhile, burial arrangements for the remaining two victims, Elivacy Muyaba and Raphael Chitsonga, have been scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, at HHI Cemetery.
