FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have confirmed that Nigerian forward Babatunde Adepoju has returned to his parent club Venda FC of South Africa following the expiry of his loan deal.

Adepoju spent two seasons with the People’s Team, during which he became one of the club’s most reliable attacking options in the TNM Super League.

The striker leaves Malawi after an outstanding 2025 campaign where he scored 15 goals in the league.

His goal tally saw him finish the season as joint top scorer, sharing the honour with his Big Bullets teammate, Chikumbutso Salima.

Adepoju’s contributions played a key role in Big Bullets’ attacking success as he consistently delivered crucial goals throughout the season.

During his time at the club, the forward earned praise for his work rate, movement and ability to convert chances under pressure.

Big Bullets benefited greatly from his experience with the Nigerian striker often stepping up in important matches.

Following the end of his loan spell, Adepoju officially parted ways with the Blantyre based giants and will now resume his career with Venda FC.

In a farewell message shared on his Facebook page, the Flames forward expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone at the club.

He thanked his teammates, the technical panel and the Big Bullets management for the trust and support shown to him during his stay.

Adepoju also reserved special appreciation for the supporters, acknowledging their unwavering encouragement both on and off the pitch.

As he returns to South Africa, Adepoju departs Big Bullets in style, leaving behind a strong legacy as one of the standout performers of the 2025 TNM Super League season.
