Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant, Oloye Saheed Oladele, narrowly escaped an assassination attempt while returning from a political meeting in Lagos.
According to Maroof Asudemade, Director of Media and Publicity for the Saheed Oladele Support Foundation, Oladele’s convoy was attacked, and his vehicle was hit by a projectile.
The attack is believed to be linked to Oladele’s growing popularity among Oyo State voters, which has become a threat to some individuals.
