Reports say Anthony Joshua involved in road accident in Ogun State, Nigeria

Reports emerging from Nigeria claim that former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua was involved in a road accident on Monday morning in Ogun State.

According to the reports, the accident occurred in Makun area along the busy Lagos Ibadan Expressway, a major transport corridor linking several parts of the country.

It is alleged that the vehicle carrying Joshua, a Lexus SUV, collided with a stationary truck under circumstances that are still unclear and under investigation.

Unconfirmed accounts indicate that two people lost their lives at the scene of the accident, while several others were affected.

Joshua was reportedly trapped in the wreckage and later rescued by emergency responders and passers-by.

Sources further claim that the British-Nigerian boxer sustained injuries described as minor and was taken to a medical facility for treatment.
