APC demands a public apology from Dachung Musa Bagos over the controversial Terminus Market project
This fresh demand is coming barely days after Bagos decamped from PDP to APC, and it has already sparked mixed reactions across Jos and beyond.
According to the Jos North APC Liaison Officer, Johnson Nenman, who made the statement in a post, and I quote:
“That Terminus Market is still fresh in our hearts.
Dachung Musa Bagos, we need an apology first.”
For those who may have forgotten, back in 2022, a court issued an injunction restraining the then governor, Simon Lalong, and Jaiz Bank from continuing the Terminus Market project.
The suit that led to that injunction was filed by Bagos himself.
At the time, many Plateau citizens praised Bagos for the move, describing it as a bold step to defend Plateau State interest.
Some even believe that action boosted his popularity and contributed to his electoral victory, as supporters insisted he stood firm for the people.
Now that Bagos has crossed over to APC, the big question on everyone lips is
Should he apologize or should the past be left in the past?
Plateau politics, as always, is not for the weak.
