WORSHIPPER KILLED IN IGANDO VEHICULAR ACCIDENT AS DRIVER FLEES

The driver absconded, leaving behind the victim.
LASTMA personnel responded promptly, securing the scene and regulating vehicular movement to prevent congestion.
The accident vehicle was evacuated in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, Igando Division, restoring normal traffic flow.
The victim was reportedly lawfully navigating the pedestrian corridor when the vehicle veered into her pathway.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause and prosecute the fleeing driver.
The tragic news reached the MFM Church during service, where the victim’s husband was present.
The church community was left in shock, and the bereaved family is receiving condolences.
LASTMA GM Olalekan Bakare-Oki expressed condolences to the bereaved family and MFM Church, urging motorists to prioritize pedestrian safety and traffic discipline.
