POLICE OFFICERS ARRESTED OVER ALAGBADO GUN SHOT IN LAGOS
By Olayiwiola Ibrahim // Lagos state police command’s spokesman SP Abimbola Adebisi has confirmed that officers involved in a shooting incident in Alagbado, Lagos, have been arrested and taken into custody.
In a post shared on X, Adebisi said the commissioner of police has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident.
According to her, the officers involved in the unfortunate shooting incident that occurred today in Alagbado have been arrested and taken into custody.
In a swift reaction to the incident, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Olorundare Jimoh has ordered a thorough and intensive investigation into the incident, as well as the adequate deployment of personnel to forestall any breakdown of law and order.
Normalcy has been restored to the area.
She added that the command has deployed additional personnel to maintain peace in the area.
While assuring the good people of Lagos State, the Command promises that justice will be served and the outcome of the investigation will be made public in due course, she said.
