By Mohammed Fitr/ABUJA// The founding leaders of the Allied People’s Movement, APM are leaving no stone unturned to reclaim rightful ownership of the party which was said to have been established by the pioneer BOT Chairman and current National Chairman of the party.
SECURITY MONITOR gathers that attempt is being made to institute another legal battle to stop the factional chairman of the party, Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantale from parading self as National Chairman of the party aside the pending case in the apex court.
Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantale, the factional chairman and Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC is being challenged at the Supreme Court after the appallate court set aside the Federal High Court Judgement which recognizes Bagana’s faction as the legal executive council. The case is said to be pending at the Supreme Court for almost a year now.
SECURITY MONITOR authoritatively gathers that series of meetings are being held in Abuja to stop what they described as “illegal immigrants ‘ into the APM. “the case with Dantale is purely a political fraud. And an attempt by the some governors to further polarized the APM will be resisted with all legal means possible. Muhammad Bello, the spokesperson of the Bagana led chairmanship told our Correspondent in a telephone conversation, stressing that his party will resist any attempt to commercialize democracy.
If information at the disposal of our medium is anything to go by, the Bagana led faction will at any moment from now address a World Press Conference to herald the renewed battle for ownership of APM. This new litigation may signpost a process that could ruin the political calculation of the likes of Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed who on Thursday picked nomination Form to contest for Senate and other aggrieved governors and politicians who are said to be lured into the party by the Dantale led faction.
As it stands, Bala Mohammed’s political journey to APM may however be stamped by FCT Minister Nyeson Wike’s expensive joke of ” I will put fire in Bauchi”.
Or maybe, Bala Mohammed’s response to Wike. “You’re a small boy in politics” will save the Kauran Bauchi’s new political alignment. This heavily pregnant political realignment will deliver a shocking baby with time.
The country is indeed pregnant with political conundrum.
