Centre for Wounded Servicemen and Fallen Heroes Supports Fund (CFWS&FHSF) Pays Partnership Visit to NDLEA, Strengthens Collaboration on Drug Abuse Prevention, Youth Empowerment and National Security
The Centre for Wounded Servicemen and Fallen Heroes Supports Fund (CFWS&FHSF), led by its Executive Secretary, Ezekiel Adi, has paid a strategic partnership and collaboration visit to the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) as part of efforts to strengthen national initiatives aimed at combating drug abuse, empowering young people, and promoting a safer society.
The visit provided an opportunity for both organisations to discuss areas of cooperation, particularly in the implementation of nationwide programmes focused on drug abuse prevention, public sensitisation, youth development, and support for national security efforts.
During the visit, the Executive Secretary of CFWS&FHSF expressed deep appreciation to the leadership of NDLEA for its outstanding commitment and sacrifices in protecting Nigerians through its fight against illicit drug trafficking and substance abuse.
He noted that the Centre recognises the critical role of NDLEA in safeguarding the future of Nigerian youths and believes that strategic partnerships between humanitarian organisations, security agencies, communities, and government institutions are essential in addressing security and social challenges.
The delegation was warmly received by key officials of NDLEA, including Dr. Dankolo Shehu, Director, Prevention and Sensitization, NDLEA, and Abubakar Garba, Deputy Director, Prevention and Sensitization, NDLEA.
The Centre commended the Prevention and Sensitization Directorate of NDLEA for its continuous efforts in educating communities, raising awareness, and developing preventive strategies against drug abuse across Nigeria.
The partnership is expected to promote joint initiatives that will strengthen awareness campaigns, youth empowerment programmes, and community-based interventions that contribute to sustainable security and national development.
