Afrobeats superstar Davido has taken a swipe at former Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, after the APC chieftain welcomed the party’s top leaders to Osogbo for its mega campaign rally ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
Oyetola had welcomed Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda and other party leaders to Osun.
Reacting to Oyetola’s post on X, Davido wrote:
“If you like gather Jesus’ 12 disciples, o ma LULE for the 3rd time!!!!!”
Davido’s remark has already triggered reactions online, with supporters of the ruling APC and the Adeleke camp trading arguments ahead of the poll.
