Tinubu Tells APC Campaign Council Not to Expect Him at Every Campaign Event Ahead of 2027 Elections
By Wuddeama Manga/ABUJA// President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has told members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council not to expect him to attend every campaign event ahead of the 2027 general elections, stressing that he must remain focused on governance and the country’s economic responsibilities.
Tinubu made this known on Wednesday in Abuja during the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, where he urged members to take the party’s message to Nigerians across the states and local government areas.
The President emphasized that while the party’s campaign team works to mobilise support nationwide, he must also dedicate time to governing the country and addressing pressing economic challenges.
His remarks come as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
