Fraud Allegation: Fayose Remains in Prison As Bail Conditions Were Not Met

In what looks like a day fulfilment of bail conditions on Wednesday when the embattled former Governor of Ekiti state, Peter Ayodele Fayose was granted bail in the sum of #50m and one surety in like sum to issue bail bound in the same sum from a reputable bank or insurance.
Justice Mojisola Olatoregun of Federalhigh court Lagos had on Wednesday ordered the remand into prison custody of Fayose until the fulfilment of his bail conditions, up till now the bail bound is still keeping him in Ikoyi Prison.
The information available to SECURITY MONITOR confirms that the hope of Fayose to gain freedom before weekend is over as the approval for his release had not be given due to the late presentation of the bail conditions to the trial judge.
Last minutes frantic effort by hus lawyer yield no result as the former governor will have to spend the weekend in prison.
