A human rights activist,Comrade Adeniyi,Alimi Sulaiman has declared
that the purported West Africa Examination Council (WAEC)
Attestation/Confirmation School Certificate presented to President
Muhammad Buhari by the Council’ Registrar, Iyi Uwadiae last week, was
fake and forged document, calling for the immediate arrest and
prosecution of WAEC Chief that perpetrated the fraudulent and satanic
act act.
He also stated that Buhari lacks the needed integrity to continue in
office, not to talk of being reelected as President of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria in 2019.
He however called for the disqualification of the President Buhari by the
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for his(Buhari)
failure to submit his acclaimed highest qualification(WASC) to the
electoral umpire as stipulated in the INEC Form CF001, rejecting the
idea of turning Buhari’s Affidavit to his certificate,saying that INEC
could not change the rule of the game because of one person.
This was contained in a signed statement by Comrade Sulaiman and
copies were made available to newsmen on Tuesday on the controversial
saga, he challenged President Buhari to tender the WAEC Attestation
Certificate to the electoral umpire if Buhari and his party,APC were
of their celebrated document(WAEC Attestation) which they acquired
through fraudulent means recently.
Sulaiman who is the Executive Chairman, Centre for Human Rights and
Social Justice (CHRSJ), alleged that there were many discrepancies in
the earlier acclaimed Buhari 2015 Statement of Result and 2018 WAEC
Attestation which made Nigerians from home and abroad to conclude that
the two acclaimed Results and Attestation were fake and forged,
referring to a letter earlier emanated from the Ghana Headquarters of
the WAEC which confirmed that no record of Muhammed Buhari or
Muhammadu Buhari was found in its record as student that sat for the
West African School Certificate Examination(WASCE) in the year 1961.
CHRSJ Chief explained that the Buhari and the ruling All Progressives
Congress (APC) have put the country into National and International
disrepute among the comity of nations in the world, noting that the
name of President Buhari and Nigeria would be the first name to enter
the Guinness Book of Record as country where her leader paraded fake
and forged Certificate, comparing immediate past Minister of Finance,
Mrs. kemi Adeosun with President Buhari as bird of the same feather
flocks together.
According to him, “It is a shame on the part of President Muhammadu
Buhari and the Presidency for joyously received the
Attestation/Confirmation Certificate of the Examination he (Buhari)
did not sit for at the Presidential villa. All evidences at our
disposal have shown that Buhari was fraudulently procured the
controversial certificate and that is the reason why they could not
tender it anywhere as official document. This shows that Buhari lacks
the needed integrity to continue as President of the Federal Republic
of Nigeria by not eligible to vie for the any elective position, not
to talk of Nigeria President”.
Sulaiman therefore, called on the Ghana National Headquarters of the
Examination body (WAEC) to set up an Independent Panel of Inquiry to
investigate the major scam of presenting fake and forged Attestation
Certificate to President Muhammadu Buhari by bringing the culprit to
book so as to serve as deterrent to others.
