Rivers PDP Chair Obuah Felicitates With Muslims,Urges them to Support Gov. Wike
As Muslim faithful celebrate this year’s Eld-El-Kabir on Monday, September 12, the Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State chapter, Bro Felix Obuah, joins well-meaning Nigerians to congratulate all Muslims in the State and the nation on the spiritually significant event.
Bro Obuah wishes Muslim believers a peaceful and successful celebration, believing that they would take advantage of the conducive environment and peaceful disposition of the Rivers State Government under Gov Nyesom Wike to conduct themselves peacefully in accordance with the tenets of Islam.
The PDP Chairman further calls on them to use the occasion to show love and affection to people of the State and indeed, all Nigerians as cardinal lesson for the celebration.
He particularly urges Muslim leaders to preach love, unity and tolerance as no society grows without these, reassuring that the PDP government in the State under Gov. Wike remains committed to the protection of lives and properties of everyone living and doing business in the State, without any form of discrimination based on religious or political affiliation.
Bro. Obuah therefore, appeals to them to continue to pray for the success of the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike and to be agents of peace, as well as pray for the unity of the nation.
